36 Days of Type
My role: Concept, Design, Animation
36 Days of Type is a design challenge which invites designers of all types from around the world to interpret the Latin alphabet including A through Z, along with the digits 0 through 9. Designers are encouraged to create a different letter from scratch each day for 36 days.
This challenge opens my creative floodgates. I participate for as many days as I can (schedule permitting) each year. View my contributions from the last few years below.
2021
This year I challenged myself to create an animated character to represent each letter.
2020
This year I created each letter as a simple, abstract animation.
2017
This was my first year participating in the challenge. As you can see, I experimented with many different designs, techniques, and styles.
