3d Visualization
During my time working as a motion designer in live events, I served as a set designer over a 2-year period, using 3d renders to pre-visualize to clients how sets may look when fully realized. My experience included both live stages and trade show booths. Overall, I created over 40 set renderings during that time. Designing sets helped me understand spatial design, and helped inform my motion design direction for screen content.Below are some side-by-side comparisons between my 3d renderings and the eventual fully-realized sets. I worked with our creative director, fabrication engineers, lighting designers, and show runners to make sure my designs were compatible with their process. This gave me a huge insight into the workflow that goes into planning a live event from a standpoint outside of strictly motion graphics.
